Home Education Curation Collection. 8th June 2024

It's been fairly quiet again in the community, so we'll be doing a round up of the last two weeks. It's a nice mixture of themes we've got this time around.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@leomarylm
@romeskie
@taliakerch

Homeschooling is not the most common way to educate children in many countries, so when you do choose to educate your children in this way you often get some questions about it. I love how @Romeskie addresses these questions and if you are new to homeschooling I think you'll appreciate it too. This week she wrote about how she developed the habit of obedience in her daughter.

@chacald.dcymt shared a recycling project she did with her daughter using recycled materials to create a sign to raise awareness about helping the planet.

Do you prefer to watch the movie or read the book with your child/ren? This is what @taliakerch was discussing this week. Do you do both and if so, in what order?

@leomarylm brought us activities based around emotions. Her daughter did these both at home and at school, but they can all be easily replicated at home.

To finish up we have something from @ramisey on the educational and developmental benefits of plasticine.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @freemotherearth as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
