Hello, Hive community. I hope I'm welcome here. Though I've heard about this community a long time ago and also, a friend once told me about it, but I was occupied with a lot of activities back then. And yesterday, when I was shuffling through the internet and searching for what I could probably engage myself in, I came across this platform again, which is why I am here. Though I've been told about it since 2024, here I am in 2026. And I believe believe that now that I'm less busy and have a lot of things off my table for now, I guess I will be here for the time being to see how things goes.
About me!
My name is Segun. I studied computer science at the university. And I'm currently doing my masters degree programme which I started since last year. It been of a little bit stressful but as someone who knows what he's doing, I don't see it as stress but an pathway to greatness, I should put it that way. And the good news about that is I like what I'm doing even on my good and bad days. No regret so far on this journey. Though it can get uncomfortable sometimes, it's what it's like, one of my colleagues usually say.
If I'm not occupied with my work, and I'm not sick, I enjoy going out with my friends on the weekends, though I like my company sometimes. I also enjoy watching movies; I've seen a lot of that in my free time. I listen to music too, I also read read random books that someone recommends for me. I also like to hang out with my loved ones when I'm having a boring day because I don't like to get bored.
Not only that, but I might not be the best chef in my world, but in my space, I'm the best hahaha. It's funny how some people usually say cooking should only be for some people. I don't think I agree with that because I can cook to the best of my ability, and it always comes out fine.
According to the nature of what I'm currently doing, it requires a lot of work and research even though I'm not a workaholic, but it can get so crazy for me some days that I have to do a lot of work because I don't want to be idle, lagging behind, or rushing at the last minute. I always like to keep everything on time and on point.
One thing about me is that when I'm on the internet, I like to read random posts, see how people think, and see people's reactions to what they post. Some posts can be hilarious and educational; some might not make too much sense, but I always learn from anything I read before. Either way, I'm gaining, and it's contributing to what I already know. I might also drop what I know and my quarter on what I have read. But mostly, I just read through and went to the next because I somehow believe that not everything deserves my reaction. I am sure others are of that opinion too.
However, I am here. I don't really know how this community or platform works yet, but I'm here, and with time, I will be figuring things out as I scan around. Here's my first post, and I'm glad to be here
