Lately, I've been thinking a lot, a lot, and I can't say maybe I'm surprised at what I've been realizing. You know, isn't it funny seeing that this small boy of yesterday is now becoming the person he once needed? This is actually coming from a personal place, but I know that a lot of you can either relate with me or understand me.

This is not even about that: I'm getting older, having a family, and beginning to care for my kids, be there for them, and all of that. That is also right, though, but that is not where I'm going today; I might write about that some other time.

Today, the focus is actually on me becoming that person I once needed. Yeah, there was a time I needed someone to tell me things would get better, there was a time I needed someone to tell me I would survive this, there was a time I needed someone to encourage or motivate me, and there was a time I needed someone to just stay, to just be there for me.

But life didn't give me all of that; it did try to give me some, but not all, all thanks to family. But there are some I had to learn for myself and give to myself. I've had a lot of experiences in life, not your regular kind of experience. Hopefully one day, I would write a series on it because, in all honesty, it is worth documenting.

That aside, all of those experiences have helped me to become a better human, and as I would always say, if I had become someone who cared less and all, I don't think anyone who knew my story would have blamed me for turning out that way, but I choose to be better. I chose to understand that not everyone who looks good on the outside is actually fine on the inside. I've been there before. Yea, I've been on the hospital bed at a time before not knowing what my fate will be while I'm still posting funny memes online; some just thought I was doing fine. There was a time I was even still writing on hive whereas I'm still battling with stuff... Stuff too big to even put into words.

But then, it is well. Yeah. It is well. But all of those experiences made me stronger; it made me understand people better; it made me be the person I once needed. Now I find myself encouraging people, motivating them, and trying my best to be there for them. Not because I'm doing very well now, because even I still have things I'm dealing with, and all, but then I now handle them differently.

And there is something about experiences: when you go through it, especially that kind of experience you never see coming or pray to experience again, when you come out of it, you often come out of it with something you can give/share to someone else to calm them, inspire them, or encourage them. That is you being that person you once needed
