Announcing the Winners of HiveBuzz's Yearly Author Badge for 2023!

As you know, the HiveBuzz project has aimed to support users' engagement on the Hive platform. Last year, we introduced the much-anticipated Yearly Author Badge, a recognition designed specifically for our most diligent authors.

This badge was born out of your requests and has successfully spurred many into embracing the challenging but rewarding task of publishing daily.

As we turn the page on the first year of our new challenge, it's time to reward the authors who've shown incredible dedication. Today, we honor those who've earned their stripes, or should we say, their badge, for the year 2023!

Congratulations to our 95 committed publishers.

Their perseverance is nothing short of inspiring. The Yearly Author Badge is no ordinary achievement. It requires an author to craft and publish a post every single day, without fail, for an entire year.

The badge is a deserved reward for their dedication and the remarkable level of engagement they've maintained with the Hive community.

Congratulations to:

To our winners, your shiny new badges should now be proudly displayed on your HiveBuzz profiles to celebrate your accomplishment.

Congrats again and stay buzzing!

The Yearly Author challenge for 2024 is now open!

A quick reminder of the rules

To find out if you are entitled to receive a Yearly Author badge and validate when you published your post, Hivebuzz uses the time of the blockchain which is UTC (Coordinated Universal Time)!

If you post at the wrong time, i.e. taking into account your local time or way of considering weeks, you may miss both badges and will have to wait till the next Monday or month to be able to earn your coveted badge.

These particularities in the validation rules have led to many users contacting us to ask us why they have not received their badge.

Track your progress

To help authors know if they're still on track to earn their award, we've added progress indicators below these badges:

They will let you know how many days you published a post this week, month or year.

If the gauge is green, it indicates that you are on your way to earning the badge.
If the gauge is red, it means you missed one or more days of the week or month, or you still haven't posted today.

Who among you will take up the challenge and stay committed until the end of the year? Good luck to everyone!
