Traveling around the world and discovering new places it's always a thrilling experience. Walking the streets is always interesting and you always find something that you like!
Besides many many tourist shops which are offering souvenirs, clothes and typical yak or pashmina blankets or scarfs. Since hikking and trekking is the main activity here around, you can spot countless shops selling mountain clothes and equipment from brands like The North Face and others.
We went exploring more the local markets and places which are a bit on the outskirt of the city. If you want to get things even more cheaper, that's the way how to do it.
Soon we were astonished with the variety of shops, far from what we can find in the west. We find a shop where they were making drums and other instruments, than clay and copper kitchen material.
It was interesting to see also artist shops with beautiful art pieces or selling big gold chains or rings.
