#marketfriday is initiated by @dswigle who wants to see markets in all forms all around the world. Come join us in showcasing your local markets or fairs!
Today I bring us here to Sunway Putra Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to see Thomas and Friends!
Okay I actually didn't know beforehand there was a fair here but we were meeting my husband's grandma for lunch and since the fair was just in front of the eatery, it attracted us, or rather I mean it attracted my youngest son 馃ぃ
There were not many people as it was a weekday so I was very happy with that. They sell merchandises of Thomas & Friends too like T-shirts, stationeries and water bottles etc.
Oh well I did not have much time to look at those merchandises because I was keeping a close eye on my son who was spending almost all of his time at their play area. It was really nice!
This event lasted for a few days and it has different ways of redemption of gifts if we purchase their merchandises. They were not cheap so I bought nothing.
First, they set up train tracks and their toy trains as well for children to play.
Some small tables for kids to sit at so my son kept wanting to come here before and after eating.
There were also displays of their Thomas & friends trains, big and small.
This is a big Thomas & Friends town, which I don't know if it is Sodor or where. Hahaha I did watch a bit of Thomas with my eldest when he was young but I cannot rememeber much of it now.
Then, there was a small playground for children to play at, so I believed my son was exhilarated to see it.
Many things to play and touch and see for the children.
If we spend RM50 in any place of the mall, which we did as we ate brunch, we are entitled and can redeem a free train ride. Look at how my 3-year-old went with his cousin without the mothers, simply because we could not fit in the train carriages! Haahhaha!
Now that was kind of a unexpected fun. My son went home satisfied and fell asleep on his way back.
