Good morning dear Friends in the Black And White Community 🙌📸
It seems that Zagreb’s main railway station has become my favorite spot for taking photos. Well, that’s not entirely true—I love photographing my city most of all—but every other Friday I find myself at the station in Zagreb with a one-hour break between trains. And, of course, I always have my camera with me. There is truly always something happening at the station; there aren't many static shots here. Trains arrive, others depart... In between, there are fleeting encounters, glances through windows, and stories that continue on their way. That day, I was struck by a father and son who were using their mobile phone to photograph a train while it was stopped and as it pulled away. The station is a place of transience, new beginnings, and waiting; every arrival signifies someone’s return, and every departure marks the start of a new journey. Ultimately, only the platforms remain the same here, while the trains, the people, and their stories always move on—whether on short trips or long ones—but they keep moving.
So, let'g go see together, but first
