AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Jackyl's Jesse James Dupree have joined forces once again to bring us a new track titled "Never Gets Old." This song will be featured on Dupree's upcoming solo album, "Breathing Fire," set to release on November 10.

This collaboration between Johnson and Dupree dates back to 1997 when they first teamed up on Jackyl's song "Locked and Loaded," delivering an electrifying, AC/DC-esque performance where they took turns on the vocals during the verses. Their musical chemistry led to a lasting friendship and another collaboration on "Kill the Sunshine" from Jackyl's 2002 album, "Relentless."
According to Dupree, the idea for his new album, "Breathing Fire," came to him almost out of nowhere. After spending a day immersed in AC/DC's iconic albums "High Voltage" and "Back in Black," he woke up the next morning with a song in his head. This initial inspiration quickly snowballed into an album's worth of material, and Dupree felt compelled to reach out to Johnson for assistance.
While Johnson was initially occupied with promoting his memoir, he eventually reached out to Dupree after the call and expressed his eagerness to collaborate. Their partnership proved fruitful, with Johnson praising the results as "mean and angry" – the perfect recipe for rock 'n' roll.
"Never Gets Old" is described by Dupree as a tribute to those dedicated fans who used to camp out for front-row concert tickets. The song references iconic bands like Led Zeppelin and Def Leppard, encapsulating the essence of old-school rock 'n' roll.
