Rock N' Roll from the 1980's, for a Late Three Tune Tuesday!

Normally this would be a Tuesday post, but I honestly didn't have time to get to it. So here we are Thursday completing my Tuesday post. I suppose better late than never. Last week I features some rock from the 1970's, so today I decided to move into the 1980's. This should be fun!

But first, I am still working on my Hard Rock Hotel and Casino collection of silver strike tokens. The casino is long since out of business, but these commemorative silver tokens can still be found online. They could be won by playing certain slot machines in the US, Canada, the Caribbean, and cruise ships back in the day. These machines are now hard to find, and the tokens are becoming more rare and collectible. Especially from the Hard Rock.

This is one I still need to pick up, the Les Paul Gibson token. I found this on eBay but they are asking $60, too much in my opinion.

These tokens contain 0.6 Troy ounces of pure silver surrounded by a brass ring. Now that they aren't available as the casino has long since shut down, they are becoming harder to find at a good price. It may take a few more years to finish up this collection with lots of shopping, and a little good luck finding some good prices!

Formed in Birmingham, England in 1969, this legendary hard rock band recently was inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame. They had their breakout success in 1980 with the album British Steel with mega hits "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight". Today's song comes from 1982 and is called "You Got Another Thing Comin'":

AC/DC

Formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973, they are yet again another rock n' roll legend and in the Rock Hall of Fame. In the late 1970's they were becoming very popular when singer Bon Scott died suddenly. He was replaced by Brian Johnson and the result was the album Back in Black. The rest was history. This comes off the same album and is called, "You Shook Me All Night Long":

Iron Maiden

Yet another legendary rock n' roll band formed in 1975 in London, England. They also have been inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame. They released their debut album in 1980 and it sold well, and things only got better with The Number of the Beast in 1982. This song comes from that album and is called: "Run to the Hills":
