Let me show you today the #BBQ area along our #lake in the far… far #NORTH and the views around it, from last MEI 2024…
As you will see there was still some #snow around us if you look closely between the trees. ☃️
The calm and fresh day made for a beautiful #walk in the evening to check out the lake a bit more. 😊 Come along… and see for yourself.
Right now, everything is still covered in meters of snow ⛄️ so I can’t really get to the lake, as there are no paths or trails that are maintained. So… I just continue with #renovating the #cabin up the #mountain 😁 still lots of work. Soon I post about it. Just need to find some extra hours in a day hahaha 🤣

The neighbours little boats 🛶 are still there after the winter from last year.
Next to the bench and the BBQ there is this little box / hut with wood 🪵 for the bbq to light up.
Cute right… all is ready for some grilling with a view.
The BBQ itself stands on a large rock 🪨 far away from the forest around us.
Let’s take in the views 😊 soon it will be spring and the trees will have new leaves 🍃

We walk a bit along the lake.
Do you see the snow across the lake between the trees? It has not all disappeared yet.
It is a beautiful and tranquil place. Just us and nature… nothing else 🥰
The lakes edge is covered with vegetation… that grows on top of the rocks 🪨
I go down to get a low capture along the water…
Cute little plants. They survived the long 7 months winter really well.
Another artistic capture… a branch of the tree next to me.
A not so artistic view… the #forestry has #farmed most of the forest next to the lake. It looks very #barren on this side. Also a reality of living in the far north.
Luckily they do maintain the areas… and after a while they plant new trees for the next harvest in years to come. The sad part… #wildlife and natures ecosystem is disrupted for a longgggg time. 😕
