The lake at the foot of our mountain 🏔️ ☀️ ~ remote cabin life 🥰
So far you have seen all the stunning views around our #cabin, #forest 🌳 and down the #mountain 🏔️into the VALLEY. The only thing I haven’t shown to you yet… I just realised 😇… was the stunning #lake at the bottom of our mountain.
Let me #rectify this today! 😁 Come along to see, NOT ONE BUT 2 beautiful lakes… one behind our mountain going a bit more #north and the one you have seen peeking out behind some trees in my recent photos and videos from my garden views 😊

I will follow the time stamps on them. So it looks like you are experiencing my #adventures on this #walk to 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 #discover everything what I saw, like the little #details seen through my eyes.
We start with the lake further north from us. Not to far though… We have to drive around our mountain to get there along a sandy winding path. There is nobody around. No houses… streets or even holiday homes. No people for miles and miles haha
Just us and #NATURE 🥰
As you can see it was a lovely summers day and the bright sun made it look very summery ☀️
We can not walk all the way to the edge of this lake as the edge… disappears between the vegetation that is already covered with water from the lake.
We drive back to our mountain 🚗 on the same day.
Now 😎 Let me introduce to you our lake. 👇🏻 It lies at the bottom of our mountain in a #valley. Surrounded by forest as far as you can see. Besides the few houses / cabins in our hamlet. Again… nobody around here.
The neighbour does have a few little boats 🛶 to go out fishing onto the lake in the summer months.
The beautiful part of this day that I visited our lake. 🥰 Is the #REFLECTIONS of the #CLOUDS onto the water surface. You see them in all my following photos.
It just makes this view so much more #precious! The forests reach all the way to the edge of this lake.
We walk a bit to the left. We take in the serene views.
It is stunning down here. There is even a bench… a bbq area. A box with wood 🪵 for the fire. 🔥
I could spend hours here just sitting and enjoying the view.
Some waterlilies along the lakes edge.
Most of the earth below us is solid rock. 🪨 The same at our cabin and our forest up the mountain. If you look closer the water is red from the iron.
Isn’t our lake beautiful?
Finally I have shared it with you too. I will share more from this and other lakes in the area during other seasons… soon…
Now I have to go back to renovating the cabin… 🪚🪛🧰🔨 it is “painting the walls day” 😁🪜🎨 just like yesterday.
