An easy late day walk at home after getting up VERY early this morning for a drive over to Gallup, New Mexico for a last-minute dog rescue run
Many hours and miles today but 5 very lucky rez pups were saved from death and on their way to the rescue in Phoenix.
It's so tough to get in any sort of training run when I'm doing these dog rescues ad the drives are so long and I am just do stiff, tired and sore after hours in the driver's seat. But with the covid mess cancelling volunteer jobs it gives us something worthwhile to spend these days.
At least the temperature wad mild this afternoon but it wad a gray and overcast day with a few sprinkles of rain but at least no freezing rain or snow.
Hopefully those sweet little pups will find their loving family soon and the amount of abandoned dogs lessens in the new year and when the native lands open up.
