Please step away, sir!😳
Sometimes you just need to step away from work and enjoy!😊
Silvertop isn’t hiding under a rock although we have plenty in the Pacific Northwest, both in the Mountains and down by the Ocean Lol!🤣
So many unique spots to take photos of down by the bay, I wanted to share a few more!😊
Much of this shoreline is sandstone.
Further inland the geological formation of the land changes………
Hundreds of miles of old abandoned coal mines. The exact location of which has been long lost after a Courthouse fire at the turn of the 20th century!🙄
Hiking trails with Sunset views looking out to the San Juan Islands, and onward to the open waters of the Pacific Ocean!☺️
At the airport I earned my Pilot’s license, they had a sign in the hangar, it read……..
“ The sky is beautiful, but extremely unforgiving! “ 😳
The Ocean is similar, beautiful during fair weather, and powerful and potentially deadly in foul weather!
Silvertop picked a day somewhere in between the two extremes to visit the bay!😇
This time of year is a quiet time for this Ocean side park.
Summer brings thousands of visitors.
Everyone is trying to stay healthy, hiking jogging, and the occasional “ Ding…ding “ of a bicycle alerting you to their approach from behind!😇
For now Liz and Silvertop and a few dozen others have this slice of the Pacific Northwest coastline to ourselves!
Just the sound of the wind and waves!😊
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
