War - watercolor on paper

by @armandosodano

The artist armandosodano shares with us a new watercolor paper called “War”. “My young students ask me for information and above all explanations about the war in Ukraine and I try to explain something to them. Something that I myself am not able to understand how this human tragedy has come about for millions of people. Billions of dollars thrown into the fire of war, instead of being invested for the planet, I only understand this…” the author told us. Read the post to find out more about the concept of today’s artwork!

Snow in the wood

by @barnabo73

Snow is always a magic event and in today’s post barnabo73 shares with us some amazing photos taken during a snowy day. “It has snowed, all houses and trees were white, and it was sunny, so I walked on the hills around my town, enchanted by this new reality. Snow changes things like our thoughts change our perception of reality, and we need new thoughts to live better” the author said. Don’t miss this beautiful photoshoot inspired by the beauty of nature!

CATWOMAN / PROCESSING STEPS

by @titti

“Inuit Knowledge and Climate Change” is a film by Nunavut director Zacharias Kunuk and scientist and environmentalist Ian Mauro and it was screened at the 2015 Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. In this film, the Inuit leaders, inhabitants of the Arctic, in constant contact and contemplation of nature for their own sustenance and survival, recount the changes they have observed in recent decades in climatic conditions and in habits of animals. They also say that the sun never sets in the same place again, and this latter claim, which implies that the Earth’s axis has moved, has caused complaints from many scientists. This interesting aspect was the starting point for today’s post by maruskina, don’t miss it!
