Breaking the Vicious Cycle - Getting my Life Back đź’Ş

It’s 3am.. and last night I decided “enough is enough”.

The past month at work has been pretty hectic to say the least. Working 11 hours a day, 6 days a week.

But that’s not the worst bit, it’s the effect that can have on your personal well-being both physically and mentally. It starts off as a day, suddenly a week, then before you know it a month has passed by.

“I’ll just have a rest day today, been a busy day”

“Might as well grab some takeaways for dinner, can’t be bothered cooking”

“Since I’m not training, might as well grab a few beers to relax and unwind”

What starts off as a once off, suddenly becomes a pattern that can spiral out of control.

And once this becomes a pattern, before you know it, it can take a toll on your body and mind. Not exercising, putting junk into your body, losing motivation to do the things you love.

Last night I said to myself “F@&$ That” and vowed to get back a healthy pattern of living, a lifestyle I enjoy significantly more.

So we hit the gym bright and early this morning. I love an early morning train, always have more energy than after a long day at work.

Today’s the first step, tomorrow the next.. Not gonna lie, bloody looking forward to getting my life back as things slow down a bit.

Early 🦅 gets the 🪱 yo!!
