Other Niche Communities Curation Report #159

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 159th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

I want, but only with you | Love letter to no one

I want your back to be homefor my cold hands in the early morning, that my laughter never leave your ears, nor my lips ever leave your skin.

I want you to drink me
in every sip of water
and be the dust
that never leaves your glasses.

I want to be your day by day,
your boredom and your pleasure,
I want to be your bad decisions
and the inadequate solution,
your late wake-up runs
and the shoe you never put back in place
when you sleep.

Just Random outdoor

Hmmmm, Friday. I suddenly remembered what it smelled like during this day when I was still studying. This day gave me a good feeling which is hard to explain. Perhaps, it means partying or just having a rest tomorrow after. I missed it when I was working for 5 years at a private company. I didn't enjoy the weekend much. Well, the day off was not specified every weekend. Let's just forget it because that was in the past and today in the blog it will be a #marketfriday tag by @dswigle.

This plant grows by itself, most people just ignore it, but we can take advantage of it.

Hello my Hivelovers, the first time I read about this Community of Catharsis, I was glad that it was a space where we could drain those experiences that affect our lives, and that among them being a survivor of diseases could also be expressed.

This is what my sharing with you is about and perhaps the daily catharsis that I personally experience by not only surviving an illness but by having it present and giving signs of its stay in me every dawn.

Garden Journal, End of July Garden Report

So, the end of July has come, as I write this, it's the evening of July 30th.July has been a pretty good month for the garden here in the upper great lakes region. We've had some dry weather which required watering the gardens, but for the past 2 weeks we've gotten a decent amount of rain. This always helps the garden more than watering it, but you can't always depend on the rain.

Since this post is basically "show and tell" for the garden, I'll get right to it. First, a picture of the main garden. Between the squash vines covering half of everything, and all the tomato plants, it kind of looks like a jungle out there.

The Poltava intercity bus station is a mind-bender.

My first encounter with the main Poltava bus station was around the end of 2013 just before the tensions rose in the country. It is safe to say that even after 8-ish years, the place is still very intact. In whatever sense "intact" can be assumed.

Poltava is one of the popular cities in Ukraine. It is not a very big city and the city center is just as cozy and confined. One thing I love about the city is the people. I had a heartfelt chat with a street vendor, who of course was a babushka, and she told me to start picking up Ukrainian while she herself spoke to me in fluent Russian. The atmosphere in the city is incredibly welcoming and so full of comradery.
