Tips, Trick and Benefits of Mustard Greens Pagoda (Ta Ke Cai) with Hydroponic System

Hello guys..
Today I want to share a little bit about the experience of gardening in a small yard that I have.
As usual, the vegetables that I have is a vegetable that I and the family consume every day.
In the era of the pandemic is making me and my husband very diligent in planting like vegetables, herbs and fruits.

The vegetables that I wanted to share his experience is a Mustard Greens Pagoda (ta ke cai).
Vegetable this kind of is a vegetable that is very rare in Indonesia, especially in the area where I live.
Initially I put this because there is an order to the interests of the exhibition.
Then over time I tried this vegetable and its vegetable is really unique as well as have good taste.
So that got me addicted to plant these vegetables using hydroponic systems.

As the name suggests, mustard pagoda (ta ke cai) has the same form as the pagoda because the structure forms a rounded and stacked up, which is very unique.
Although the shape is very unique, this plant has many benefits such as:

  • Iodine that high make this vegetable as a drug to treat the disease mumps
  • As a good treatment for patients with TUBERCULOSIS because it has a compound good for the lungs as an anti-inflammatory to restore lung function.
  • Improve health and body fitness
  • Anti-depressant, good for sleeplessness (insomnia)

Mustard greens pagoda that I planted has a special place because of the kind of vegetables mustard greens grow widened so that the distance between the other planting media should be broad.

Tips:

  • PPM is needed for this vegetable range 1000-1400 because these vegetables need minerals to grow normally.
  • Always check periodically on the part of the root in order to awake the channel the water to drain nutrients in vegetables

Mustard greens pagoda generally can be harvested after 30-40 days after sowing.

To process sawi pagoda is very easy. Usually I sauteed mustard greens pagoda with garlic mashed and then given a little water and salt. Rod of mustard greens pagoda this it feels like to chew the meat, almost the same taste with pakcoy. This vegetable can be mixed with soups even in the juice with pineapple.

A lot of benefits and the easy way gardening mustard greens pagoda make this vegetable became one of my interest to plant these vegetables in my yard.
