Please take the time to read our article on creative nonfiction, which describes the genre, and the similarities of creative nonfiction to fictional stories.

Creative nonfiction stories are true stories, which are told like fiction. So, for example, a creative nonfiction story should have elements of fiction such as characters, dialogue, action, a conflict that is resolved, etc. If you read the article that will help!
