This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

I'm slowly but surely climbing out of the cellar at one point being back in the green this week before getting a small hit in the last matches of the week to get back slightly below it. However, the positive thing is that I've been on a pretty good run now since hitting a -3 unit low gaining that back in the past 170 or so bets and 4 winning weeks in a row. This with a feeling that I'm still very much am able to find and edge and main bets that on average crush the closing lines. I'm also still having plenty of fun with it even though I did feel some fatigue on Sunday dropping my focus a bit.

I should have actually been in the green again but some of the asian bookies ended up voiding my Antwerp -1.5 unit bet which was at a clear 4-0 score around minute 75 when Beerschot fans decided to end the match. This while Pinnacle paid out the -1 handicap bet that I placed with them. This is one of the minor downside of asian bookies as they will screw you up if they get the opportunity. I'm sure there are some clear rules but I'm not quite sure what they are for each individual bookie. I also was aware of the risk as it kind of was announced which kept me from taking more on it. In the end, these are just the things you have to accept when betting sports which makes it harder. In the end though, these bookies still offer products that you can actually beat and earn good money from so it's pretty much forgiven.

I again had 3 matches where the closing lines were considerably lower but with a loss (-1.5 units) as an outcome and a bet that always should have been a win but ended in a push

This pretty much has been the story of this season and it's crazy that I'm not at a solid profit on these.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

I did manage to stake 6.6 units in total which is getting closer to the 8+ that I aim for while I'm still extremely cautious on my stakes. I am looking to increase them quite a bit still but at the same time I don't right now want to get myself in a situation where a bad week at higher stakes gets me back down. So I kind of want to be in the green first to start being a bit more adventurous. I did have many tiny cost-average cover/hedge bets this week which added to the total of 62 bets in total. So overall this season, everything has been about doing quite well on the closing lines but not getting rewarded for it and limiting the downside potential. The season isn't yet 25% complete so there is plenty of time and bets left to eventually get at +3% ROI which easily can be reached as right now that is only at +1.5 units
