This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

things continue to go in the right direction again and this was one of those week where I didn't actually have that many bets let alone big bets but they ended up doing well with a high win rate. There were also multiple matches where I didn't have a single bet (Anderlecht vs Charleroi 0-0 & OHL vs Kortrijk 1-1) which didn't help to get the overall volume up. I'm also getting closer to find some confidence to increase my stakes a bit again. It's always tricky the "Value vs Winner" dilemma as the 2 main scenarios are either to have a bet where you see value but don't believe it will win or bets where you believe it will win but see limited to no value. Both these are hard to bet big. The 3rd option is were you have a bet where you see big value and it also being a winner which are the ones to get totally paranoid about as they more than often end up losing somehow.

So yeah, it all remains very tricky and a massive challenge to just bet big on winners and have an insane ROI. Betting is much more a grind where you need to avoid stepping on landmines and let luck even out over time to eventually beat the market marginally as it by default is very efficient and not that easy to beat.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2024-2025

I did get in the green again after 2 convincing winning bets in the Genk vs Dender match which were Genk -1 @ 1.860 (4-0 win) and Genk 1H -0.5 corners @ 1.647 (7-1 win). These highlighted bets generally remain the strongest and a way for anyone to follow along to do so in an efficient way. After 23 Bets they now show a +1.318 unit profit or +5.73% ROI which is in line with past results. The closing lines also systematically are a lot lower which is the best indication.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

I'm not quite there yet to be in the green on the season let along be at the expected pink line profit but I'm trending toward it and I'm sure I will get there if I just continue the way I'm doing things right now. Whenever I'm down, I'm more concerned with not digging the holder deeper which in a way makes it harder to get back in the green. On the other hand, when I'm well in the green I tend to be a bit more daring. Anyway, 331 bets is still a pretty small sample and a lot of things (good or bad) can happen any given week.
