🥇 A tempel deep in the forest, Jikoji, Japan by @maxinpower
In the temples and shrines, I am particularly attracted by that special atmosphere, this fine mystical aura that lies over these facilities. Even though I wouldn't necessarily call myself a dreamer, during my visits to temples and shrines I always manage to send my thoughts and my heart on a great journey. And from there, it captures a little bit of this so special and wonderful mood and brings it back to me. That's why I always try to visit and explore temples or shrines that are still unknown to me. In Japan, Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines often go hand in hand and complement each other in the everyday life of the Japanese people. When the own children are 3, 5 or 7 years old, the whole family goes to the shrine, but on the other hand, the temple is responsible for funerals and mourning ceremonies. In our prefecture, you can find a small shrine after every third corner, but temples seem to be less common in this part of Japan than in the rest of the country.

🥈 From Mysterious Temple To 0 Kilometers With Itineraries, Yogyakarta, Indonesia by @macchiata
In my previous series, I offer some options such as visiting beautiful abandoned quarries, dining with a view, and enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Yogyakarta. This time, I offer the option to visit some temples, sky views, and the beach. Unlike the previous 6 hours when I traveled alone, I was traveling with 2 of my cousins. I picked these places because it includes everyone’s preference. I love visiting temples, my male cousin loves the mountain view and my female cousin enjoys lounging at the beach. This time, I will also include an itinerary of the trip that you can use as an estimation if you want to visit these places when you visit Yogyakarta.

🥉 National Park El Avila, Venezuela by @maridmc
Do you like the cold? The mountains? Strawberries and cream? Hot chocolate? The heights? Nature at its best? Then this place is for you. After a weekend full of beach, sun, and sand? We went to the mountains! This is one of the most visited tourist sites in Venezuela here in Caracas. It is the "WARAIRA REPANO " or "CERRO EL ÁVILA ".
