Esta será mi última publicación referente a mi paseo por los Páramos Andinos de la Grita Estado Táchira, en este punto ya estaba agotado de conducir, además la motocicleta no estaba en las mejores condiciones, de hecho nos dejo accidentados el Domingo a las 5:00 p.m, fue complicado pero no tome fotos de ello, así que solo les diré que se pudo resolver hasta el día siguiente, me retrase unas horas en el trabajo, pero bueno, cada cosa se disfruto al máximo.
This will be my last publication about my ride through the Andean highlands of La Grita, Táchira State, at this point I was already exhausted from driving, besides the motorcycle was not in the best conditions, in fact it left us in an accident on Sunday at 5:00 p.m, it was complicated but I did not take pictures of it, so I will only tell you that it could be solved until the next day, I was delayed a few hours at work, but well, everything was enjoyed to the fullest. |

Ese día nos quedamos en casa de mi familia, yo les hablé hace muchos años de ella, es un lugar genial, muy tranquilo y aunque no es un Páramo es un sector rural con características similares, me refiero a que hay casas muy separadas una de la otra y las personas viven gracias a la agricultura, de hecho es una pequeña colonia no muy conocido por lo cual no hay muchas bodegas o negocios, básicamente los pocos que existen sobreviven únicamente por los vecinos de la misma comunidad.
That day we stayed at my family's house, I told them many years ago about it, it is a great place, very quiet and although it is not a Páramo it is a rural sector with similar characteristics, I mean that there are houses very separated one from the other and people live thanks to agriculture, in fact it is a small colony not very well known so there are not many warehouses or businesses, basically the few that exist survive only by the neighbors of the same community |

Lo que me gusta más de este lugar es la laguna, tengo muchos recuerdos pescando allí, con los años el nivel de agua ha ido bajando pero sigue siendo tan hermosa como la recuerdo, de hecho se ve mucho más vivo ahora, las areas verdes tomaron más lugar... Además las vistas increíbles a la ciudad de la Grita y las montañas que la rodean. En la actualidad ya no hay peces, hasta donde entiendo antes existían allí por una semilla, tenían un cultivo de truchas, desconozco que sucedió para no seguir haciéndolo, y ahora se utiliza como agua de riego, tienen todo un cronograma para turnarse el agua por sectores y cultivos, aunque esto ha creado muchos problemas entre un grupo de la comunidad pero no es de lo que hablaré en este post tampoco.
What I like most about this place is the lagoon, I have many memories fishing there, over the years the water level has gone down but it is still as beautiful as I remember it, in fact it looks much more alive now, the green areas took more place.... Besides the incredible views of the city of La Grita and the surrounding mountains. Currently there are no more fish, as far as I understand there used to exist there for a seed, they had a trout farm, I do not know what happened to stop doing it, and now it is used as irrigation water, they have a whole schedule to take turns the water by sectors and crops, although this has created many problems between a group of the community but it is not what I will talk about in this post either. |

Una vez llegada la hora del medio día partimos a casa, pero antes hicimos una parada en el santuario del Santo Cristo de la Grita, me gusta visitar el templo cada vez que voy, como lo he mencionado antes en posts como la peregrinación de 14 horas, este es el patrono de la ciudad, casi toda la población devota al Santo Cristo, sin embargo para mi sorpresa no encontré muchas personas allí ese día, espero realmente que se deba a que era un Lunes en hora pico, aunque me gusto tomar fotos donde se pueda apreciar mejor el lugar, las últimas que subí en Hive el templo estaba repleto.
Once midday arrived we left for home, but first we made a stop at the sanctuary of Santo Cristo de la Grita, I like to visit the temple every time I go, as I mentioned before in posts like the 14 hour pilgrimage, this is the patron saint of the city, almost the entire population devoted to the Holy Christ, however to my surprise I did not find many people there that day, I really hope it was because it was a Monday rush hour, although I liked to take pictures where you can better appreciate the place, the last ones I went up in Hive the temple was packed. |

Regresamos, hicimos un par de pausas para descansar las piernas, jamás creí que viajar en motocicleta me iba a agotar como sucedió en esta oportunidad, aunque también influye el hecho de que mi vehículo presentaba ciertas fallas de carburación, trate de parar en lugares con fondos geniales, lo que más me gusta de la vía es una calle que esta rodeada de arboles como si de un túnel se tratara. Un par de kilómetros después hicimos otra pausa para comer Fresas con Crema y melocotones, @yinadiaz10 es fan de todo lo que sea dulce, por cierto conocimos un local brutal para comprarlas, con un columpio y muy bonita decoración, en tantos años jamás entre allí, literalmente fue mi primera vez haciendo una parada en ese lugar, ahora probablemente se vuelva uno de nuestros lugares de fin de semana.
We returned, we made a couple of breaks to rest the legs, I never thought that traveling by motorcycle was going to exhaust me as it happened this time, although it also influences the fact that my vehicle had some carburetion failures, try to stop in places with great backgrounds, what I like most of the road is a street that is surrounded by trees as if it were a tunnel. A couple of kilometers later we made another stop to eat Strawberries with Cream and peaches, @yinadiaz10 is a fan of everything sweet, by the way we met a brutal place to buy them, with a swing and very nice decoration, in so many years I never went there, it was literally my first time making a stop in that place, now it will probably become one of our weekend places. |
