· We arrived in Cuenca at the end of October 2021, to a lodging that we had previously contacted online (specifically through Facebook Marketplace) and in which we almost couldn't stay because of a confusion. Thanks to heaven, and to Natalia who convinced the nice lady, everything was fine and we were able to stay.
· The location was very good, close to the Cuenca Heritage Cemetery, the lady was very nice but obviously had her reservations when she saw the two cats and the whole issue, fortunately it was resolved well although it was not cheap $$$ hehehe
· Llegamos a Cuenca finalizando Octubre del 2021, a un hospedaje que previamente habíamos contactado por internet (específicamente por Facebook Marketplace) y en el que casi casi no nos podemos quedar por una confusión que hubo. Gracias al cielo, y a Natalia que convenció a la amable señora, todo estuvo bien y pudimos quedarnos.
· La ubicación estaba muy buena, cerca al Cementerio Patrimonial de Cuenca, la señora se le notaba muy amable pero obviamente tenía sus reservas al ver los dos gatos y todo el tema, afortunadamente se resolvió bien aunque no fue barato $$$ jeje

Cuenca is a very nice city, with a pleasant climate, although sometimes it can be a little rainy, it is quite enjoyable with a morocho, or a colada morada, not to mention the bread guaguas...
In that city we discovered that the colada morada has strawberries in it, because Natalia is allergic and it was causing her reaction hahaha. I love this drink, I think it is incredible, its taste, its preparation and its history...
· Cuenca es una ciudad muy linda, con un clima agradable aunque a veces puede ser un poco lluvioso se disfruta bastante con un morocho, o una colada morada, ni hablar de las guaguas de pan...
· En esa ciudad descubrimos que la colada morada lleva fresas, pues Natalia es alérgica y le estaba causando reacción jajaja. A mí me encanta esa bebida, me parece increíble, su sabor, su preparación y su historia...
It is a city with a lot of cultural activity, young people. There are many events of various kinds, we had the opportunity to attend quite a few although we were only in the city for a short time, largely because of the central location where we lived.
We went to art exhibitions, to craft fairs, to listen to folkloric music, to see movies at the French alliance and many more. **Cuenca is a city that you can walk around and appreciate. Its good weather and its good look make that in a short time you can walk several kilometers and it is just enjoyment...
- We even stumbled upon a Bitcoin store (!?¿¡).
· Es una ciudad con bastante movida cultural, gente joven. Hay muchos eventos de diversa índole, tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a bastantes aunque estuvimos poco tiempo en la ciudad, en gran parte por el lugar céntrico donde vivíamos.
· Fuimos a exposiciones de arte, a ferias artesanales, a escuchar música folclórica, ver películas en la alianza francesa y varios más. Cuenca es una ciudad que se deja caminar, se deja apreciar. Su buen clima y su buen ver hacen que en poco tiempo se recorran varios kilómetros y es sólo disfrute...
- Hasta nos tropezamos una tienda Bitcoin! (!?¿¡)
We also had the opportunity to do an event in a school, that was very cool, with the teachers, the kids with their uniforms, and the whole theme, there were exhibitions and the scolding of teachers to the "grupitos " were not long in coming, haha.
The theme of the project was Entrepreneurship, the kids had posters with phrases of Steve Jobs and others, it was very nice and Natalia said a few words and everything.
· También tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer un evento en un colegio, eso estuvo muy cool, con los profesores, la muchachada con sus uniformes, y todo el tema, hubieron exposiciones y los regaños de maestros a los "grupitos" no se hicieron esperar, jaja.
· La temática del proyecto era El Emprendimiento, los chicos tenían carteles con frases de Steve Jobs y otros, estuvo muy agradable y Natalia dijo unas palabras y todo.
· Cuenca nos trató muy bien, quedamos encantados con sus calles, su gente es muy amable y aunque se les nota cerrados como muchos dicen, yo resaltaría más la educación y amabilidad de su gente trabajadora y honesta.
· Fuimos a ventas de segunda mano, que tanto nos gustan, Natalia encontró un par de cosas muy lindas que la van a acompañar por bastante tiempo. Cuenca es un lugar que hay que conocer y sobre todo darse el gusto de caminar sin mirar el reloj...
· A los gatos les encantó el frío y la cama, sobre todo la cama. Como no era tan grande nos manteníamos todos juntitos y calientes en ese frío cuencano 😆 ♥ ♡ 😺
Cuenca treated us very well, we were delighted with its streets, its people are very friendly and although they are noticeable closed as many say, I would highlight more the education and kindness of its hardworking and honest people.
We went to second hand sales, which we like so much, Natalia found a couple of very nice things that will be with her for a long time. Cuenca is a place to get to know and above all to indulge yourself in walking without looking at the clock....
The cats loved the cold and the bed, especially the bed. Since it wasn't that big we all stayed all snug and warm in that cold cuencano 😆 ♥ ♡ 😺
· Varios, vaaarios helados, y varios museos y otros lugares muy interesantes después! Tuvimos que ir diciendo hasta luego a la ciudad...
· En Cuenca hay unos lugares mágicos, que requerirían un post específico para explicarles! Como las pajareras, que quedan detrás del museo Pumapungo, donde hay muchas variedades de aves como guacamayos, loros, y otras especies exóticas en cuidado!
Several, several ice creams, and several museums and other very interesting places afterwards! We had to say goodbye to the city....
In Cuenca there are some magical places that would require a specific post to explain! Like the aviaries, which are behind the Pumapungo museum, where there are many varieties of birds like macaws, parrots, and other exotic species in care!
We packed our bags! I don't think I had shown you the ladder cart, we will talk more about it when I tell you more about some of our juggling equipment.
Very grateful to Cuenca, we continued on our way! Grateful, happy and with our fattest and fluffiest kitties!
