Gazing into space
Filled with emptiness
I see only snowflakes
Falling like raindrops
Standing here alone
Waiting for mom and dad
Their presence not in sight
My longing eyes getting weary
Having been soaked in expectation
Not seeing my real desire
My spiritual eyes awake
To see an imaginary clip of
wildlife
Running from unknown enemy
My concern remains my parents
Who're yet to get home
As the house is empty without them
I'll go nowhere till they arrive
While I pray they come home soon
To put life into my life.
