When I saw this word today, I first thought of gallery, but then I remembered galley is kitchen inside ship or airplane.
I have never entered inside airplane before, but I have seen galley in film. The small kitchen where air hostess arrange food and drink for passengers.
It makes me think. My own kitchen in my house is also my galley. Very small, but that's where I cook all my magic. Like that rice and stew I cooked last night with fried meat , I cooked it inside my small galley.
If my life was a ship, my galley will be the most important place. Because that's where I take care of myself. No matter how tired I am after work, I still enter my galley to make something hot for myself. That is self-care.
