Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 132, Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week which is “GLORIFYING CRIME”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “SAY NO TO CHALLENGES”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts when it came to raising their kids and just how much challenges they would shield their children from. There were those who were willing to protect their kids from everything they could, giving them as easy a life as possible. Then, there were those who were going to allow their kids face challenges on their own.
We got to see the reasonings behind such decisions and we could also predict the outcome such decisions would have on the future of the child. In the end, what matters is what we’re willing to do for the child and what the child will be able to do for himself later on. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w132e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us that she would allow her kids to go through life’s challenges, instead of shielding them from it. This is to help them become independent and perfectly capable of handling whatever life may toss their way. It’s the only way they can cultivate resilience and dedication in the face of adversity.

For this author, he’s also going to allow his children go through their challenges. He would not allow them live in luxury and pamper them to the point where they’re no longer capable of taking care of themselves. His plan is to raise kids who will be self-sufficient and capable of living on their own.

For this author, he has a duty to care for his children and make sure he raises them to become capable adults. He’ll be a mentor and a guide, making sure that they don’t lose their path while trying to find their way in life. Each child is different, just as each parent is different, so the manner of upbringing will differ from person to person.
