Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 50, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “PRE-EXAMINATIONS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “UNDESERVED”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time they were shown a good act by someone. An act that was totally unexpected and undeserved.
We got to see the different ways people have been exceptionally kind and selfless when it came to helping out others. People go out of their way to help strangers or friends not really close to them. It shows that the world still has a lot of good in it. It was an interesting topic.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w49e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about the time she was at a very low point in life and received help from a source she had never expected. The call was out of the blue and the help went a long way in easing the stress on the family. There are people who favor seems to stick to them like glue, this author is one of them. HAVE THE PROVILEDGE OF THE HELP by @angelagui
This author told us about the time when he made a trip to a place for the first time, he had little funds and he knew no one. A stranger helped him out, just a little show of kindness that went a long way in easing the stress of the journey. Very beautiful indeed.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE HEART OF ANGELS ARE ALL AROUND US by @vikar
For this author, he was a little short of funds and had no way to register for his graduation, seeing as it was the end of the semester. That was when someone he met at the library chose to do it for him. No strings attached, no favors asked. Such a beautiful gesture that warms the soul.
