Taste the Goodness:Classic Chicken White Rice Delight - Creative Sunday

So, We are here again on another Sunday, It's a day where we can do some creative tasks and share them with our Hive family.

Today we decided to make Chicken White Rice, So let's start


Ingredients


  • 1 KG Rice
  • 1 KG Chicken
  • 3 Pieces of Onions
  • 2 Pieces of Tomatos.
  • Green Chillies 25 Pieces.
  • Garlic 20 Cloves
  • Fennel 1 TableSpoon
  • Dry Corriander 1 TableSpoon
  • Cumin 1 TableSpoon
  • Salt 3 TableSpoon Or ( As per your requirement)
  • Oil 300 ML

Cooking Procedure


First of all,, you need to cut the onion and tomatoes like this. You can cut with your hand or you can use cutting board/machine.

Wash the Green chillies and cut their roots. peel off the garlic.

After that, you need to put both these things in the hand chopper and chop them by adding a little bit of water. Keep the paste with you and use it later.

Now make a powder of Funnel and Dry coriander and keep the powder with salt and white cumin powder on the plate.

Now the cooking mystery begins. Put the oil and Onion in the Pot. Fry the onion for 5 minutes. Don't let the onion change the colour. They will turn soft in a few minutes.

Now Add tomatoes and cook it with onion for 1 minute.

now bring the chicken. You must wash the chicken properly.

The next step is to cook chicken with onion and tomatoes for 5 minutes. The chicken colour will turn to White.

Now add the paste I told you to keep with you of Green chillies and garlic. cook it for more minutes.

Now add the other dry spices kept on the plate. After adding dry spices Cook it for 5 minutes.

You can add some Green Chillies ( unchopped ), which will enhance the taste of rice.

Now add 1 and a half Liter water ( for 1 KG of rice ) into the cooking pot.

Cook it for 5 minutes after adding water, until it starts boiling.

Now add rice to the cooking pot. ( Rice should be washed properly and you must soak the rice for 20 minutes in water)

You can see me adding rice in this picture. cook it for 5 minutes until the water gets Dry.

Now cover this partially cooked Rice shown in the picture.

and let it finish cooking on low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.

This is the look of the Cooked rice.

Here you can see me dishing out the rice and eating. You can eat this rice with Green yoghurt and Salad.
