It was the weekend, I received an invitation from my cousin Juan to go to his house, at first glance it was a quiet plan, to play and enjoy some time with the family, who sometimes have strange tastes. I took my purse and went to the supermarket to buy some cookies and a package of coffee that my aunt asked me to buy, I only obeyed and did her that favor, so I wouldn't arrive home empty handed, otherwise the scolding would be very big. I knocked on the door of my cousin's house and they received me with much affection, love and I was a little nervous, since I had not seen them for a long time, but between laughter and conversations I was adapting, besides seeing Juan was the most incredible thing.
I made myself comfortable in that house and immediately we started to play, I managed to win a game as I lost others, but that was not a reason to give up, we spent another time playing, this time I won first and we made a bet, whoever lost had to prepare coffee for everyone, so I concentrated very well to not lose, since I did not know how to make coffee and I did not want to be embarrassed, in the last game I beat my cousin and it was the happiest moment for me, I made myself comfortable waiting for my cup of coffee.
Everything was going great, I laughed at my cousin when he was pouring the coffee, since he added more than usual and we only had to wait for it to boil. I started to look at the phone and when I realized I had my cup of coffee served, I carefully took the first one and I was surprised that it had no sugar, I thought that was very strange and I had never had coffee without sugar, so I didn't take it and left it on the side. I thought that he had forgotten, but he told me that they never put it there. Inside I said: What a crazy cousin.
Shortly after his mother arrived, asking about the big mess they made in the kitchen, where my cousin told her that we only made coffee for a snack, since he had lost a bet. The aunt left us alone to continue playing, however, she didn't call for us to help her in the garden and without so many complaints we left, I noticed that they used the coffee grounds to put them on the plants and that way they didn't lose anything. Again, I was surprised, since I had never heard that before and now they use coffee for the plants, between laughs I commented: The plants do not drink coffee, but my aunt said that it will help them in their growth.
I had to put them on all the plants they had in their yard, it was the most annoying task, since we also had to water them, where I think I was wasting the coffee on these plants instead of drinking it or doing other more productive things. Every time my cousin and my aunt are getting crazier and crazier with their coffee habits and I am already going crazy, since it was the coffee I bought and now I am just doing weird things with this great product. There was nothing left to do but finish until night fell and we didn't go home.
After dinner, we started to watch a movie and I stopped for a moment in the kitchen and I was surprised that my aunt was there, preparing a mask for her face and a coffee, where I was very scared and I thought it was a dream, but it was real. I was already getting worried, as they did too many strange things with coffee, and I didn't expect anything like that in this family, I just wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee and that was it. I didn't say anything and went to bed, thinking that today I noticed how this family has crazy uses with coffee, being the weirdest thing.
When I woke up, I changed, took my backpack and left my cousin's house, as I didn't want to spend another day with them, as they might do something else weird with coffee. I didn't go for a while to that house and mom always tells me that they are looking for ideas on the internet about coffee, coming to my conclusion that each family will have their own coffee habits, but for me it will be a cousin and aunt crazy about coffee.
