A New Journey Begins
As 2023 came to an end, I also brought to an end my series of giveaways for videogame lovers: in fact, after 243 episodes, I felt it was time to move on and change the format, switching to a different type of post, no longer daily but weekly(ish), with a much bigger prize and followed by a summary of my progress on the various Hive games I follow.
So the idea is to publish a " regular" post, merging what I used to divide into several smaller posts/giveaways, followed by a quick and easy giveaway to incentivize new readers to open my articles and reward those who follow me with a chance to win a prize.
Instructions
This post will provide instructions for future giveaways - thus taking inspiration from what @forykw has already been doing in his giveaways for a long time.
The Prize
The prize will be all HBD generated by the post within 7 days of its publication... but with a twist!
Let's support the Hive Games!
The winner will not in fact receive the prize as HBD, but will have to choose a gaming token of their choice from the ones I suggested at the end of the post.
I will then convert the amount won into the chosen token and send it to the winner - an easy way to add some buying pressure to our favorite Hive Games tokens!
The options will definitely include @splinterlands, @risingstargame, @holozing, @wrestorgonline, @golem.overlord and serfdom&sorcery (@psyberx), i.e. the games/projects I am currently active on and/or have assets on, but I may also add others in the future, especially if several users request them.
How to Join
To join you will need to leave a comment under the post where the giveaway is active.
The comment must meet the following requirements:
- be made within seven days of the publication of the post;
- contain the words "HIVE GAMES";
- contain the name of the game whose token you want to receive as a prize (e.g., Splinterlands).
Only comments containing the words "HIVE GAMES" will be considered valid.
In the event that you do not indicate the game whose token you wish to receive as a prize, the choice will be made by me from one of those available.
How Will the Winner Be Chosen?
The winner will be chosen through a random comment picker.
There will be only one winner to begin with.
How Will the Conversion Be Done?
The conversion will be done via Keychain and its very convenient swap feature developed by @stoodkev, so as to ensure a fast and safe swap.
When Will the First of These Giveaways Be Available!?
My goal would be to organize these giveaways on a weekly basis, but I may fail, so the best way not to miss them is to stay active on Hive, check your notifications (if you are already on my tag list) and leave me a follow so you don't miss my posts :)

Una Nuova Avventura Ha Inizio
Con la fine del 2023 ho anche concluso la serie di giveaways dedicati agli amanti di videogiochi: dopo 243 episodi ho infatti ritenuto che fosse il momento di voltare pagina e cambiare format, passando ad un diverso tipo di post, non più a cadenza giornaliera ma (più o meno) settimanale, con un premio molto più corposo ed accompagnato da un riepilogo sui miei progressi nei vari giochi che seguo.
L'idea è quindi quella di pubblicare un "normale" post, accorpando ciò che un tempo suddividevo in vari post/giveaways più piccoli, seguito da un facile e veloce giveaway che incentivi nuovi lettori ad aprire i miei articoli e premi chi mi segue con la possibilità di vincere un premio.
Istruzioni
Questo post fornirà le istruzioni per i futuri giveaway - ispirandomi quindi a quanto già fa da tanto tempo @forykw nei suoi giveaways.
Il Premio
Il premio sarà costituito da tutti gli HBD generati dal post nell'arco dei 7 giorni dal momento della sua pubblicazione... ma con una particolarità!
Supportiamo gli Hive Games!
Il vincitore non riceverà infatti il premio sotto forma di HBD, ma dovrà scegliere un gaming token a sua scelta tra quelli da me proposti alla fine del post.
A quel punto io provvederò a convertire l'importo vinto nel token scelto ed ad inviarlo al vincitore: un modo semplice per aggiungere un po' di pressione di acquisto ai tokens dei nostri Hive Games preferiti!
Tra le opzioni ci saranno sicuramente @splinterlands, @risingstargame, @holozing, @wrestorgonline, @golem.overlord e serfdom&sorcery (@psyberx), ossia i giochi/progetti su cui sono al momento attivo e/o su cui possiedo degli assets, ma in futuro potrei anche aggiungerne altri, soprattutto se più utenti ne facessero richiesta.
Come Partecipare
Per partecipare sarà necessario lasciare un commento sotto il post in cui il giveaway è attivo.
Il commento dovrà rispettare i seguenti requisiti:
- essere fatto entro sette giorni dalla pubblicazione del post;
- contenere le parole "HIVE GAMES";
- contenere il nome del gioco il cui token volete ricevere in premio (es. Splinterlands).
Solo i commenti che contengano le parole "HIVE GAMES" saranno considerati validi.
In caso non indichiate invece il gioco il cui token volete ricevere in premio, la scelta sarà fatta da me tra uno di quelli disponibili.
Come Sarà Scelto il Vincitore?
Il vincitore sarà scelto tramite un random comment picker.
Inizialmente vi sarà un solo vincitore.
Come Sarà Effettuata la Conversione?
La conversione sarà effettuata tramite Keychain e la sua comodissima funzione di swap sviluppata da @stoodkev, in modo da assicurare uno swap veloce e sicuro.
Quando Sarà Disponibile il Primo di Questi Giveaway!?
Il mio obiettivo sarebbe di organizzare questi giveaway a cadenza settimanale, ma può darsi che non riesca, per cui il modo migliore per non perderseli è restare attivi su Hive, controllare le proprie notifiche (se si è già sulla mia tag list) e lasciarmi un follow per non perdersi i miei post :)
