EXPLANATION OF THE VIDEO IN ENGLISH:

Hello dear friends of #spavlog, today I share with you a different video, because a week ago I ate a "Dúo Marino" and so I share with you my experience and tell you about this Peruvian dish that has a lot of renown.

As the video is in Spanish, I will try to explain what I say in the video so that you can also understand me.

Once I greet you, I explain that a week ago I went to the market near my house for some products, and I took advantage of the market to take a beet extract, and a piece of sponge cake. I had no intention of eating on the street.

But because of my leg problem I walk very slowly. And the time I hadn't been out, made me take much longer, so I was caught at lunch time. So I was looking at prices and menus. I had been wanting to eat fish for a while.

Then my attention was drawn to the "Dúo marino" which is a version of the "Trío marino", a Peruvian national dish composed of:

  • Ceviche (raw fish cooked with lemon)
  • Chicharrón de pota (which is like squid but bigger, and chicharrón is because it is breaded and fried).

For this occasion I decided to try the ceviche + chicharrón. And I did not regret it, it is a mix of flavors that I loved. The dish cost me 3.57$. And it had:

  • Sweet potato
  • Fried yucca
Chicharrón de pescado cabrilla y de pota * Chicharrón de pescado cabrilla y de pota
  • Ceviche
  • Choclo / Corn
Red onion * Leche de tigre, which is also a very famous Peruvian dish
  • Leche de tigre, which is also a very famous Peruvian dish.
  • Canchita serrana, which is roasted corn kernel, very tasty.
My mistake was to have taken the extract and the keke before eating, but I had the intention of getting home for lunch. The truth is that I really enjoyed this dish, here in Peru they put a lot of effort in their gastronomy, the presentation and ingredients of the dishes is super important. So with this video I show you a little bit of the gastronomy of this nice video, I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any doubts, do not hesitate to write me in the comments. greetings!
