Free but no Free (#6th post on AHC)

Hello Asian Hive Communit ! Today Jan 4, is Myanmar's Independence Day. In 1886, our country was colonized three times by the British and came under colonial country.
In 1885, King Thibaw (ဘုရင်သီပေါ), the last dynasty of Burma, fought a war with the British, and the king and his wife were taken to Ratnagiri (ရတနာင်္ဂီရိ), a small town in India. He spent the rest of his life in solitary confinement.

All our ethnic brothers and sisters have taken up arms and fought for independence. We were brave, but we were armed, manpower and Our independence struggle failed because of technical incompatible. We were ruled by the British through India. (Apparently, they wanted to bring Myanmar into India).
The old laws of our country are derived from Indian laws (which were British laws). We lived in a victorious country, thanks to the efforts of General Aung San and in 1937, in collaboration with the Japanese allies, recaptured Burma from the British.
Our country suffered even more during the Japanese occupation because Japanese broke their promises to us. Many people died in Rangoon during the Japanese occupation of Rangoon. The Japanese returned all of our natural resources back to Japan. Everything that happened during World War II was disappointing.
General Aung San joined forces with his British allies to fight back against the Japanese. As a result of these efforts, our country became an independent country on January 4, 1948.
Unfortunately, General Aung San was assassinated in 1947 before independence. Most of our superheroes in Myanmar have to live in prisons if they die early (otherwise). Can we say that we are the only country where fools live a long time?
The political landscape in our country is amazing. But the people are also surprisingly brave. Just look at the 1988 uprising. Until the military coup in 2010, our country was miserable under the closed-door economic policy of the generals. In the wake of Cyclone Nargis in 2008, the 2008 constitution was approved.
According to the 2008 constitution, elections have been held since 2010. Our country has moved forward with partial independence. In 2012, some political leaders were pardoned and by-elections were held. During the by-elections, the NLD won a majority of seats.
The second election was held in 2015. According to the Constitution of our country, elections are held every five years. In 2015, the NLD again won a majority of seats and formed a government.
Our country has also opened up more business opportunities. The country's GDP has also risen. Educational opportunities also improved. The people have regained their freedom. Freedom of the media has also improved. We were very happy to change for the better.
However, the military has seized power in the run-up to the 2020 general election, citing voter fraud. Politicians were imprisoned. The protesting student was charged under Section 505, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. Some youths are also taking up arms against the military.
It has been 74 years since our country became independent. But we are not really free yet. We still live in fear. So, although free, it is not yet free.
