En esta oportunidad lo que nos propone el profesor es ir inspeccionando y jugando con formas muy conocidas, como son las letras. La idea es ir formando otra cosa con las letras, la sugerencia es un zoologico o animales, pero como es el ejercicio que él realiza para darnos el ejemplo, en algunos casos yo dejé ir a mi imaginación, sino solo me resultaba ingenioso copiar sus formas, y como quería evitar la copia, elegí el desafío de hacer simple aquello que me imaginé.

Primero que todo he dibujado el abecedario completo en marcador negro. Su ejemplo incluía uno de color para hacer las formas, como yo preferí dibujar con lapiz e ir decidiendo las mejores formas para cada letra, luego lo pasaré todo a marcador y darle colores en lápiz. Me resultó mejor así para poder usar las mismas formas simples pero darles distinto sentido con el color elegido.

First of all I drew the entire alphabet in black marker. His example included a colored one to make the shapes, as I preferred to draw with pencil and decide the best shapes for each letter, then I will transfer it all to marker and give it colors in pencil. I found it better this way to be able to use the same simple shapes but give them a different meaning with the chosen color.

Fui avanzando pero enseguida me trabé con algunas letras y sus formas raras, no podía ver en ellas otra cosa que no fuera el ejemplo que vi en la clase de video, por eso traté de despejarme y hacer mi ejercicio para las formas. Busco cualquier cosa en el entorno que me sugiera otra imagen, hago el trabajo contrario, busco una forma en otros objetos. Así apareció la B, cuyas pancitas resultaron ser los ojos de una especie de molusco, esto sin color no hubiera tenido mucho sentido, creo yo.

I was making progress but I immediately got stuck with some letters and their weird shapes, I couldn't see anything in them other than the example I saw in the video class, so I tried to clear my head and do my exercise for the shapes. I look for anything in the environment that suggests another image, I do the opposite work, I look for a shape in other objects. That's how the B appeared, whose tummy turned out to be the eyes of a kind of mollusk, this without color would not have made much sense, I think.
En las trabas entendí que podía seguir con mi curso y mi tarea, a la par que hacer otras cosas, puse a lavar la ropa y lavé los platos. Al rato me dí una ducha. Terminé con todas las letras y las trabajé todas en marcador, limpié los restos de lápiz y empecé a colorear con mis lápices acuarelables, que aunque no uso su capacidad acuarelable (porqué eres así?) Me gusta más su terminación suave. Y así acabé de pintarlos todos, lista y orgullosa, porque me ha gustado mucho el resultado final y haber podido sobrepasar las dificultades. Creo que al final de todo este curso descubriré que con un poco más de tiempo, la imaginación volará hacia límites infinitos. ¿Qué digo? ya lo estoy aprendiendo!!

In the hindrances I understood that I could continue with my course and my homework, as well as doing other things, I did the laundry and washed the dishes. After a while I took a shower. I finished with all the letters and worked them all in marker, cleaned up the pencil remains and started coloring with my watercolor pencils, which although I don't use their watercolor ability (why are you like that?) I like their smooth finish better. And so I finished painting them all, ready and proud, because I really liked the final result and I was able to overcome the difficulties. I think at the end of this whole course I will discover that with a little more time, imagination will fly to infinite limits. What do I say? I'm already learning it!!!

Thank you for reading installment #5 of the drawing course that resumes my love for art. I am so happy to feel that I am back to my artistic self and to share all that I am learning as well.
