También dejé pasar la actividad con recortes de revista ya que no estoy contando con el tiempo necesario para poder frenar y hacer este tipo de collage, pero se ve muy entretenido y me gusta el desafío, en el pasado disfrutaba mucho de hacer collages con imágenes random.

I also passed on the activity with magazine clippings as I am not counting on the time to be able to slow down and do this type of collage, but it looks very entertaining and I like the challenge, in the past I really enjoyed making collages with random images.

Para la primera actividad de la unidad 3 solo hay que lograr equilibrio entre figuras verticales que queden cual totem, sostenidas por sí mismas, para luego pasar a jugar con las reglas de formitas. También nos ilustra con ejemplos de cómo decorar estas pequeñas figuras similares a las rocas, yo sé que luego seguiré practicando y jugando con ellas, pero de momento hice mis primeras tres torrecitas en lápiz y luego decoré un poco.

Una de ellas fue hecha como piedra, con puntitos, a otra la decoré con pequeñas líneas y por último, la delimité con microfibra pero hice sombras en lápiz. Todo trabajo de prueba e investigativo me encanta, solo había olvidado de qué se trataba la parte “experimental” antes de hacer el boceto definitivo, o incluso, poder tener varios de ellos. Cada día me gusta más la idea de poder sentarme y hacer alguna creación que simplemente salga de mi mente, por mi mano, hasta el papel y estar conforme con ello.

One of them was made as a stone, with dots, another one I decorated with small lines and finally, I delimited it with microfiber but I made shadows in pencil. I love all test and research work, I had only forgotten what the "experimental" part was about before making the final sketch, or even to be able to have several of them. Every day I like more and more the idea of being able to sit down and make some creation that just comes out of my mind, through my hand, to paper and be happy with it.

Esto me recuerda a distintas técnicas que usaba para dibujar flores y texturas y era sumamente entretenido ir probando con varias técnicas, quizás mi impotencia mayor fue la de no poder lograr hacer dibujos, sombras o colores íntegramente con lápices de color, pero sí en tonos monocromáticos. De todos modos me esforzaré para lograrlo, y continuar con la práctica.

This reminds me of different techniques that I used to use to draw flowers and textures and it was extremely entertaining to try several techniques, perhaps my biggest impotence was not being able to make drawings, shadows or colors entirely with colored pencils, but in monochromatic tones. Anyway I will make an effort to achieve it, and continue with the practice.
Habiendo avanzado hasta aquí espero poder ponerme al día con las últimas dos lecciones de la unidad anterior y seguir avanzando a la parte experimental y dejar a mi imaginación salir. Debo decir que los ejercicios son explicados muy brevemente en los videos y yo quiero dedicarles el tiempo que considere oportuno, y sacar algo de cada lección, como también darme la posibilidad de repetir el ejercicio si quisiera.

Having progressed this far I hope to catch up with the last two lessons of the previous unit and move on to the experimental part and let my imagination go. I must say that the exercises are explained very briefly in the videos and I want to spend as much time on them as I see fit, and get something out of each lesson, as well as giving me the chance to repeat the exercise if I want to.
