Introduction
I have been compiling lists of Hivers in various countries using @hivesql. The profile location data is not very consistent, but I try to group people by area when there are a few. There may be some mistakes due to my lack of local knowledge.

Commentary
As with other countries I have tried to break the list down by places that are given in Hive profiles. I started with a list of major cities from Wikipedia, but many of those gave no results. I would like the local community to take over this list as they will know better how to split it up. They will also know of people I did not find in my queries.
South Africa has one Orca and a few Dolphins. It has a similar population to the UK and so there is lots of potential for growth. I do not know how well known Hive is there. Not many have joined in the last year. It would not surprise me if we had more active in the past as that is a common trend. We need to bring people back.
