Its the first week of April and currently a set of Chaos Legions max level cards continues to have a new lower set value. Now closer to $7500. Yet the price of DEC has been free falling therefore it is costing more in assets to reach the set value.
Key cards in the set has dropped in value while overall the set remains pretty much where it was for over the past month or so.
The most expensive card from the set is no other than Dr. Blight but even that card has lowered in value in terms of $.
Even some of the most sort after legendaries in the Chaos set is lower in value.
The way I see is the price of DEC drop a lot faster than the value of the Chaos cards. This means although the overall set of cards are at a new low price the actual resources required to purchase the cards went up not just a little but by a lot. In the past week alone DEC has dropped more than 50% in value. This is not correlating with the Chaos Legion card prices.
Conclusions
Although card prices as a set may be lower the cards themselves are holding up in value much better than Splinterlands assets. Moving forward I would assume investing more in cards will hold up in value rather than holding the asset in the form of tokens such as DEC and SPS. We will have to see a few weeks to a month from now.
