Splinterlands Share Your Battle Challenge: Kulu Swimhunter
Hello, friends! Yesterday I made it to the Gold I league, with less than 150 points left to the Diamond III league, so today I decided to take a little break from the ranking race and took part in the new Share Your Battle Challenge with the map Kulu Swimhumter.
Since I often buy Chaos Legion packs this archer comes up quite often, and it's level 3 in my deck, and I think it's one of the most effective Water elemental cards without any special abilities.
Its high attack level, good speed, plus good survivability at 3 mana make it a great addition to medium mana battles, and most of the time it proves to be an excellent 5-6 line card.
I particularly liked today's fight, where I used him with Brighton Bloom, Dragon summoner, which I used because of the Earthquake rule. I had to "teach" my monsters to fly, and the Water deck seemed like a great option :)
So, I chose the following strategy
- Sea Monster in the first position, with great health and good attack
- Wave Runner to strengthen the attack on the opponent's first card;
- Djinn Oshannus as the main magical attacker (in addition to having great health and the ability to resist magical damage);
- Torrent Fiend to divert attention to yourself if the opponent will use cards with Opportunity ability;
- Axemaster - an excellent archer with double damage;
- Kulu Swimhumter, with great speed, which is definitely good for resisting cards with Sneak ability.
The second round was decisive and I managed to break my opponent's tank, and Kulu Swimhumter was very useful in crushing the powerful Chaos Dragon, so even Delwyn Dragonscale summoner, which enhances magic attacks, was useless :)
Happy to share the experience, keep pumping my deck and look forward to seeing you in the virtual battlefields :)
