"Do I have to go every year for this?", Prince Henry asked his father.
"Yes you have to my son, your elders did the same when they were of your age. It is important you get to know this kingdom like the back of your hand", the king replied.
Prince Henry was sad and escorted by the guards as he leaves the castle again.
"Douglas, don't you tired of this routine", the Prince asked the head of guards as their horses got out of the castle.
They went from village to village and the prince got bored as they traveled further.
"Can we camp here tonight?", he asked Douglas who immediately told the soldiers to set up a camp.
The king jumped down from his horse to have a drink and he went into his tent after it was erected.
Douglas noticed the king was bored and suggested they went hunting before dark. Prince Henry grabbed his bow and they set out.
They followed a river path and soon they found themselves chasing some hares. Everyone had to split when the chase got dirty, those creatures gave them a tough time.
The Prince caught up with his target and as he was about to take the shot, he saw a beautiful lady rush out of the woods to see what was chasing the hare.
Her beauty caused him to lose concentration and he misfired.
In the Prince's head, he was wowed by her beauty. Her robe was as white as snow and they illuminate somehow that it made her skin glow.
She was perfect and everything about her appearance captured his heart.
He rushed to her side and after confirming she wasn't hurt, he felt relieved.
Prince Henry apologized but the lady was angry.
"Why would you hunt these animals for food, aren't you satisfied with the fruits, vegetables, and grains nature has blessed us with?", she yelled at the Prince.
"Mind what you say young lady, I am the Prince of King Louis", he replied.
She paused for few seconds before scolding him further for hunting innocent animals.
Soon the guards reached where he was and the young lady ran into the woods. The Prince tried calling but she didn't wait.
"We need to go now", Douglas said as he pointed to the sky.
The night was falling and it looked like it would rain anytime soon.
They hurried back to their tent and after they cooked the meat the others caught, they brought soup for the Prince.
He was about to eat when the girl's words began to play in his head. The Prince put the soup away and he couldn't get his mind away from her.
Everyone woke up the next day to find the Prince missing, he had gone into the woods all alone to find the lady from yesterday but his effort was in vain.
He returned to the camp that day with disappointment written all over his face. The next day, he ordered that the whole forest and the nearby villages are checked and despite giving everyone they met the description of that beautiful lady, no one knew her.
The Prince extended his return date to the castle and he didn't stop searching for her.
Days passed and the king sent out soldiers to check the kingdom for the Prince and the troop that went with him.
They were found and they delivered the message that the Prince must return to the castle.
He couldn't disobey the king's order and before he left, he decided to write a letter.
In the letter, he wrote.
Dear charming lady, I am deeply sorry for trying to hurt the hare and misfiring at you.
Somehow, your words captured my heart the other day and I have been wanting to see you again so I can apologize properly. I have checked the end of the forest and the villages around but you are not here.
Not getting to see you makes my heart ache, I can't tell what I feel any more but not seeing you again makes me sick. Whether it is something special or I am just suffering from guilt, I can't tell but I am ready to walk down this path to uncover what I truly feel.
Prince Henry.
He rushed back into the woods and hung it on a tree where he last saw the lady.
"If you don't reply before it rains again, it means our fate was just to meet once", the Prince said to himself as he returned to the castle with the others.
Days passed and it rained, he tried taking his mind off but it was difficult.
On a fateful morning, the Prince noticed several birds chirping at his window. He decided to check them out and immediately he opened the window, one of the birds dropped a letter and they all took off.
He stared at the birds until they were out of sight, he picked up the letter and read aloud.
It took me forever to reply you because I am not sure I have anything to do with humans but every time I read through your letter, I feel genuine emotions in it.
I have been feeling strange in my world since we met and nothing feels normal. The arrow you shot that day almost got my heart but it didn't probably because there is more to our meeting.
If you aren't busy, we can meet later at the palace garden when the sun is down.
The Prince read over and over again, he wished he could take down the sun immediately but he had to wait. He went on rehearsing words just to speak humbly to her.
Evening came and the Prince went to meet her. He got to know she wasn't completely human and she has exhausted her limit of visiting the human world until she finds someone whose love is strong enough to give her the complete freedom to live in the human world.
After their time together, Prince Henry never got to see her again but the feeling he had grown for Camille wouldn't make him stop thinking about her.
The Prince finally found the courage to express his feeling for her and he had to send a letter again.
He got the best papers in the castle and set out to work.
Hello Camille, I have always known that there was more to life than death but it still baffles me why death is inevitable and love remains a thing of choice.
Love is a choice and whether this is wrong or right I don't know but my desire to be with you has grown beyond my control.
As I walk through the thin line between our beginning and end, it occurs to me that love is the only thing that can make a difference.

He dropped his pen and set out to put it in the woods. On reaching there, he met Camille and it looked like she was waiting.
"What are you doing here, I thought you said", but Camille interrupted the Prince, "I am free to live among humans now, someone has genuinely loved me and that's why I am here".
"I guess I was late", the Prince felt sad because he thought someone else love gave Camille freedom.
"Why are you sad?", she asked but the Prince wouldn't answer. He dropped the letter and left.
Camille opened the letter and read through it and after reading it, she screamed, "Prince Henry, your love gave me freedom".
Her voice echoed through the woods and the Prince returned on hearing that. He decided to spend the rest of his life with a supernatural.
