Green Bug

I have a little bit of a funny story of how I get the photos of this green bug, because it was not the main insect that I wanted to photograph, ut rather a bigger jumping spider that I saw earlier, and the spider looks so tame, and it was also the very first time I saw the spider.

I was at my cousin's house back then, because he was having a blessing for the newly renovated shop for his wife when I noticed the spider. I was a little bit reluctant to go back home and take my camera just to try to photograph the spider. but in the end, I went home and took my camera. You could already guess the result because the spider was gone, but since I have my camera, I decided to check on the plant a little closer to find this cute little green bug on it.

I tried to look up on Google the name and the species of this bug, but there was not much info about it other than that this little green insect might be from the Galerucini family and from the Apophylia Chevrolat genus. Well at least, my effort to go back home and take my camera was not totally a waste since I have the photos of this insect. ; )
