It was an early morning with our two babies, around 8 o'clock. Hectic, as always 馃槃 Although living on the 19th floor of an apartment building does have its perks... While frantically moving through room to room, I briefly granted myself a moment to look out the window. I was absolutely transfixed by what I saw...
It is the end of March, yet we are only now starting to experience placid weather. What were once days full of subzero temperatures and cold drizzles are beginning to transform into warmer days... I almost wonder if the abrupt change in temperature could be responsible for the phenomena I witnessed.
"Asperitas clouds are a distinctive, but relatively rare, cloud formation that takes the appearance of rippling waves. These wave-like structures form on the underside of the cloud to makes it look like a rough sea surface when viewed from below."
"The way in which asperitas clouds form is somewhat a mystery. It is hypothesised that their appearance is associated with the aftermath of convective thunderstorms, though they have also been sighted in relatively calm environments."
"What is clear however is that atmospheric conditions must be unstable to form a wavy cloud base like that seen with asperitas."

And I feel like this is exactly what I came to witness that morning. As I stared out the window, I could notice soft, billowy, wave-like clouds. Some of them almost seemed to circle around one another.
Anyway, here is the picture that I took
De todos modos, aqu铆 est谩 la foto que tom茅 馃檪
