Hello everyone 馃憢 Yesterday we had another lovely family walk in the woods, and I wanted to share some of the photos from the afternoon.
The trail that we attended is a beautiful one that houses all of the famous attractions within our area: lovely autumn foliage, look outs, and waterfalls!
We brought our young daughters, of course 鉂わ笍 Our girls love going on the trails. They are always so full of energy, so it works out wonderfully for exercise and a distraction 馃槃
The two of them took some great photos together. I love this one of the sun's rays circled around them...
I also love this one of our oldest daughter 馃槏馃ス She is steadily approaching her 5th birthday -- what is considered to be the next milestone for many people. In this photo, I can truly see how grown up she is becoming 馃ズ My poor heart!
Before reaching the waterfalls, we came across a lookout point of the forest. I managed to capture a glimpse of some of the early autumn scenery.
(Our girls also enjoyed themselves by taking a well-deserved break! 馃榿)
Finally, the waterfalls! 馃グ馃槏 We live in the waterfall capital of the entire WORLD, home to over 150 of these natural beauties! Suffice to say, we do not take them for granted... Citizens are always sure to watch where they step, leave no trash behind, and take nothing from the environment with them.
More photos of our oldest -- in case it wasn't apparent, she is the more active sibling 馃榿 To be fair, I would consider her to be the most active person in the family! 馃槀 Hills are nothing for her; she welcomes the challenge!~
To end the day, we took them down to the bottom of the trail, the bottom of the waterfalls, where the water collects in a small river. Of course, they had to toss some rocks into the water, a favorite pastime for them.
