After grocery shopping, I was arranging all the things we've bought. As I was placing them in their respective places, I thought, why not share a bit of what we normally buy in the grocery with all of you here. Maybe some of you do buy the same thing as us. Since my food budget is enough for two weeks, I buy whatever essentials that we need until it lasts for a week or two. One of the things that I always buy is milk. This bundle pack of 300g is one of my usual purchase every time.
It's really good value for money, especially if you have kids at home.
For my second purchase, I decided to try something new. It's the squid in soy sauce. I think I've seen an experience post of it here in Hive by @vvodjiu, and I was just so curious on how it tastes.
So, when I saw it in the store, I thought I should give it a try. 😁 I bought the non-spicy one because we have little ones at home.
I'm really excited to try this one out and see if we'll like the taste.
And for the last one, I bought this lotion. It was one of the things that we prioritized buying. Dengue is really rampant in our province these days, so we need to take extra care to prevent dengue from spreading.
As I was arranging the things we've bought, we went out, and I see there my mother-in-law. She was in her garden, as always, taking good care of her plants.
She was putting something in the soil surrounding her plants, and at first glance, I thought it was salt. Hahaha. 😂 It kind of looks like salt, doesn't it?
Of course, for my curiousity, I asked her what that was. She told me it was fertilizer.
According to her, it can help her plants bear more flowers, which she hopes to harvest soon for us to have more vegetables.
Just look at how healthy and beautiful her plants' leaves are! 😍
They look so good and full of life. I always love to see her garden grow. It's truly amazing how taking care of her plants has given such a wonderful outcome. While I was talking to my mother-in-law, look at what my two boys doing...
They were running around the neighborhood excitedly because they will be visiting their ate. Of course, I had to keep an eye on them while having my talk with Ma.
And while keeping an eye on the kids, something caught my eye in the sky. Isn't this cloud so beautiful? 😍
When I first saw it, it was like a cloud with a volcanic eruption. But, of course, it wasn't.
It was a big cumulonimbus cloud or thunderstorm cloud with sunlight coming from the right side of it.
It was really sunny that day, and that made the cloud even more beautiful against the clear blue sky. I just couldn't help but look at it in awe.
And that's all to my random happenings yesterday. Nothing much actually happened, but I always appreciate those little moments in our day-to-day life. For me, that's the beauty of sharing our daily moments here in Hive. We can all connect with each other, and appreciate each other's little moments in life, learning something new from each other.
Until my next adventure! 👋
With love,
@mayt 💕
