Many of us have a wrong ideology about work. We think that there should be a way of living our lives outside the principles and stress of having to engage in active work. The illusion of having a kind of life where we just have everything work out for us without having to do it ourselves fills some people's minds.
The Creator’s Modality
When we consider the way God laid out everything after the election, we will understand what place work occupies in our lives. Working has a major role in our daily living. Consider this: there wasn't any curse or consequence of sin at the very beginning. The wasn't any poverty and economic hardship hunting man but God put the man he has created in the garden to dress it and keep it. Dressing and keeping the garden was man’s primary assignment. God didn't set the man on the table of goodies to start eating, He put Him in the garden to dress it and keep it.
The Two Fundamental Components Of Living
When I discovered the layout of how life would be run from the very creation of everything, I discovered two fundamental principles which we must imbibe if we want to succeed. These are working and resting.
God had all the power in His hand to have created the entire universe within seconds. But He had to undergo the process step by step in seven days. He did one thing at a time, systematically and sequentially. Thereafter, He rested. Before anything else, plan your work schedule. Be actively involved; don't be lazy. And plan your rest as you are working.
