It's a quiet Thursday night, January 16th. I'm recovering a bit from the flu that I've been getting on a recurring basis. My brother was doing some repairs at home, but he hurt his hand on a branch from a plant in the yard. Yes, it must be said that this can be quite painful, and it stops work. The wound is worrying, but he washed it well and applied medicine, so when he put the bandage on the wound it was already looking better.
Certainly, hurting your hand is something that greatly reduces your ability to work, and we always fear infection. It's good that my brother treated the wound quickly and that we had medicine at home to disinfect and bandage the wound.
Tomorrow I plan to go shopping. And today I was trying to lift my spirits a bit.
In that sense, music has been helpful to me on other occasions. I searched through my memories a bit, and thought of a cousin who liked Salsa, and (since he was religious) he had a preference for the musical variant that in the 70s and 80s was called Christian Salsa. It was about using musical rhythms to exalt religious values and faith.
So I played around a bit with writing a prompt for the Udio music platform, and the site's AI generated a couple of songs. I selected the one I think was best and decided to share it.
Making a religious hymn with an AI is something I hadn't done before, but I find it interesting.

Estamos en una tranquila noche de jueves, es 16 de enero. Estoy recuperándome un poco de la gripe que me ha venido de manera recurrente. Mi hermano estaba haciendo una reparación en casa, pero se hirió la mano con una rama de una planta del patio. Sí, hay que decir que eso puede ser bastante doloroso, y detiene el trabajo. Preocupa la herida, pero la lavó bien y le aplicó medicamento, así que cuando se colocó la vendita sobre la herida ya se estaba viendo mejor.
Ciertamente que lastimarse la mano es algo que reduce mucho la capacidad de trabajo, además de que siempre tememos alguna infección. Es bueno que mi hermano atendiera rápido la herida y que tuviéramos en casa medicamentos para desinfectar y vendar la herida.
Mañana tengo pensado salir de compras. Y hoy estaba tratando de subir el ánimo un poco.
En ese sentido, la música me ha sido de ayuda en otras oportunidades. Busqué un poco entre mis recuerdos, y pensé en un primo que le gustaba la Salsa, y (como era religioso) tenía preferencia por la variante musical que en los 70 y 80 se llamó Salsa Cristiana. Se trataba del uso de ritmos musicales para enaltecer los valores religiosos y la fe.
Así que jugué un poco con la redacción de un prompt para la plataforma musical de Udio, y la IA del sitio generó un par de canciones. Seleccioné la que creo que quedó mejor y decidí compartirla.
Esto de hacer un himno religioso con una IA es algo que no había hecho yo antes, pero lo encuentro interesante.
