I learned about Ladies of Hive from the voice of a gentleman from Colombia whom I had known since my beginnings at Hive, he told me “You are a lady, I recommend that you write in that community, where you can be yourself”, where you will find comfort in difficult moments and celebrate your achievements together with them. Thank you so much, Since then I have felt in family and in brotherhood. I celebrate, together with the whole team of Ladies of Hive, to be able to honor in life each lady who brings her own light and uniqueness, contributing to the beautiful tapestry of our lives. Whether sharing meals, embarking on adventures, or just spending time together via the web, it is in these moments that we really realize the power of family and the love that unites us. Among the many benefits of belonging to this community is the importance of caring for and cultivating our relationships, and our interpersonal bonds so that they are healthy over time.

I have always been a lonely person, and it is not because I prefer it this way. I have a neurodivergence (ASD), and it is very complicated for me to keep a friendship. In fact, every social situation is complicated for me somehow. I am really clumsy when it comes to communicating in an assertive manner and I tend to live inside my head which can get overwhelming. That is why my friend circle is very closed and in many occasions I refrain from speaking of certain things because I feel they're inadequate or out of place.
Having a platform in which I get to express myself has been a greatly positive experience, because in one hand I get to learn from interactions, and on the other hand I have this tool that enables me to vent and express being my true self. I made my first post a few days ago and being able to see the support I received, to feel heard, understood. That I can speak freely of how I feel, my frustration without the fear of being judged in an environment that is positive and stimulating.

By romanticizing life we mean enjoying more of the present and adding beauty to all those simple, everyday moments. Normally many of us live immersed in our daily routines and chores: studying, doing housework, going to work at the office, are things that we normally see as something repetitive, boring and that we even tend to despise a little, just wishing it was the weekend or the date of a special event to do something different, fun and that makes us feel happy, but have you ever taken a closer look at those details in your routine that make it special and different? What if, for example, we dedicated a little more time to give thanks for everything we already have, to appreciate and be grateful for our experiences?

If I were an admin of a group of women and had the opportunity to ask everyone a question as a writing prompt, what would I write? What would I ask? It's got me thinking about the 'artful question'. I once took a course in college called 'Environmental Ethics' where we discussed topics like 'deep ecology' and 'the gaea principle'. Our professor spent the day with us exploring what he called 'The Artful Question'. There's a wonderful ancient proverb that says: 'She who asks a question is a fool for five minutes. She who never asks a question is a fool forever. ' And there's no wrong answers, really. Just wrong questions. And wisdom is knowing which questions to ask, not necessarily having the answers. SO it's a profound question being posed, and it's leading to more questions... How do we develop discernment so we know which questions to ask? How do we establish priorities that reflect healthy alignment with our missions, tasks, and purposes? And I suppose these are some questions that could be posed to the group. I'd also love to ask: 'What are you most passionate about right now? and 'What do you love?' Why??? Because these questions lead us to define and attune with our soul's purpose here on Earth, in my opinion.
