Continuing Google and Facebook Whistleblowers stories from the last post, we cannot ignore criminal survellance plans of Apple Corporation. If you still haven’t heard, Apple is planning to scan all its devices for the user photos and conversations in search for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Of course they will say they won’t abuse your… now also their data, but the possibilities for abuse are enormous.

And guess how the Corporation will treat those who are worried about possible abuse:

So, you don’t have to send your data to the cloud any more – the surveillance is going to start directly from your own device and without your knowledge. The superstar of all whistleblowers, a former NSA employee Edward Snowden explains in under three minutes the consequences of this decision:

And I have to add one simple thought – when Apple starts with this practice, you should have no doubt whatsoever that Google will follow on the Android devices. That is, unless they are doing it in secret already…
