We went to Tanjmahal Road to explore the small open-air food court. There were many small food stalls, and the ambiance was very friendly. They offer all the popular food as well as fresh juice and tea.
What I loved most about the place was you could sit on one stall and offer food from another, they don't have a problem with it. They are like one big stall with all different names and employees.
We went into this small stall. They offer so many different types of food as you can see. And the price is very reasonable. $1 is around 120 taka here. So now you can see all the food prices are mostly between $1-$3. You can have a family outing for less than $10.
We started with the Naga chicken momo. I was craving some spicy food and it was the perfect selection. But to be honest, even for a spice lover like me, the heat of naga chili was quite high. I couldn't finish it in one sitting but had to order some cold coffee with it.
It costs us 180 takas.
Then comes the main dish, a Pizza BBQ. I wouldn't say, it was perfect in taste and texture. They used an electric oven and the cheese was not overloaded like other places. But compared to the price, it was fine.
It costs us 300 takas.
We had some Doi Fuchka for dessert. It's a mixture of yogurt and regular Fuchka, not too spicy. The yogurt was really good and balancing the taste. I quite liked the taste after the heavy meal.
We ordered this from another stall and they brought this where were were sitting. It was hassle-free, loved it.
This costs us 150 takas.
This food adventure was nothing short of a culinary delight. we have covered different cuisines under the same roof on a budget and each dish brought its unique flavor to the table.
