Hello my loving Foodie community,
What's up my friends? I know everything are ok for you in this pandemic period staying home with your beloved once or working with your workers in your work area. Yesterday was a very important day for me. Yesterday marks the tenth anniversary of my arrival at the place where I currently work. This is the first time I have been in a workplace for ten years. So I decided to give my staff lunch because of their support. But they didn't know about my surprise. So My wife and me decided to prepare very delicious prawns fried rice. Today I introduce how we prepare it.
Ingredients
- 500 grams of shrimp
- One kilo of white samba rice
- 40 grams of green peas
- Finely chopped carrots
- Finely chopped leeks
- Finely chopped garlic
- One and a half teaspoons of chili powder
- Teaspoon of pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 20 grams of margarine
- A few lettuce leaves
Preparing method
First, wash a kilo of white samba rice in clean water, put it on the stove, boil it and put it in a separate dish.
Then clean the prawns thoroughly and put the required amount of water in a pan and let it heat on low heat. Add washed prawns and bring to a boil.
- Once the prawns are cooked, remove from the heat, cut into medium-sized pieces and place back in the pan.
- Then light the fire and add chilli powder, pepper powder and salt as required.
- Stir with a large spoon until they are well combined.
- Now put a deep frying pan on the stove and add 20 grams of margarine, letting it heat up.
- Once it is slightly heated, add chopped prawns and finely chopped garlic and let it fry.
- Add finely chopped carrots to the mixture.
- Now add the finely chopped leeks and salt to the mixture.
- Stir for a few minutes until well fried.
- Remove the pan from the heat of the above mixture, put a pan on the stove and boil the green peas a little.
- Now put the prawn mixture back on the stove and add the boiled rice and mix well. Once well fried, remove from the heat.
- Put it in a large dish and garnish with lettuce and green peas. I suggest it is suitable for any occasion.
