Tipsy French Apple Cake

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but...not when it's Apple Pie, Apple Crumble, Apple Strudel, Toffee Apples, or Apple Cake, and especially not a drunken one!

Just kidding, of course, the apple cake I'm going to share with you today, gets a few tots of Brandy, but the alcohol of course evaporates during the baking process;)
It does give the cake that extra special flavour!

I tried taking a selfie with the ingredients lined up in the background but was not successful at all! Just as well, as I'm camera-shy.
Too many silver hairs equals too many wrinkles, and even an old gal can still be vain, right?
Perhaps I need to eat more of those apples raw, and not turn them into cakes and desserts!

Nevertheless, back to the Tipsy French Apple Cake, we all could do with a treat every so often, and this one is delicious and fuss-free!
Great as a teatime treat with a dollop of cream, or as a dessert served with Vanilla Ice Cream or Custard.
