A nice meal of Kway Chap Set at Yew Kee!

It had been a while since I last ate Kway Chap, so I went to Yew Kee to get myself a nice meal.

While it may not be the most popular restaurant that serves this dish, I think they're doing okay and making good quality food. I don't go to this place often to get this dish, but whenever I crave it, I will dine here.

There are plenty of other good dishes offered by this restaurant, but I'm more interested in ordering the Kway Chap set.

It consists of a bowl of flat noodles in herbal soup. I like this particular type of noodles because it soaks up a lot of the soup's flavor and has a nice texture. The feeling and satisfaction I get from eating these noodles is much better compared to regular ones.

I think the rarity has something to do with it because I don't often eat this kind of noodles, so there's a feeling of longing and craving that makes me like them even more.

For the savory part of this dish, I was provided with a variety of ingredients. It's interesting how many components go into this plate, and considering the amount of preparation work required to complete this dish, I would say that the $6.50 I paid is totally worth it.

There's a kind of sweetness in the sauce of the savory dish; I think the reason for this sweetness is the dark sauce they added. So basically, the taste that is dominant in this dish is a combination of sweet and savory flavors.

A plate full of various meats has a unique variety of textures. The pork belly itself is already good enough for me to be satisfied, but they also added pork skin, tofu, dried tofu, egg, and fish cake. On top of that, they included a few pieces of intestines. For some cultures, they might not be thrilled by the intestines; however, I find it to be one of the most interesting ingredients in this dish.
